Description: An introduction to “The Big Bang” model and its observational tests. Topics include dark energy, dark matter, rapid growth of universe at early times, leftover radiation from “The Big Bang”, galaxy formation, bending of light by gravity, black holes, extraterrestrial life, and the likely fate of the universe.
My Teaching Responsibility: 2 Discussion Sections (1 hour/week per section) and typically 70 students in total
